The survival state is the body’s alarm system. It asks “Am I Safe?” This state is activated when a person feels they are in danger or there is a perceived threat.
This state asks “Am I Loved?” Humans need to know we are loved, loving, and lovable in order to have healthy brain development.
The Executive State is a state of relaxed alertness. It is where we have the capacity to notice our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Our 5B Book of Feelings was created to promote emotional awareness. This interactive project serves as a valuable tool for young learners to recognize and regulate their emotions.
Self-regulation is the main component of all Conscious Discipline practices. Being able to self-regulate means managing and controlling our thoughts, feelings, and actions.
Beyond being a tasty treat, making fruit kabobs by patterning offers a hands-on learning experience that can enhance various skills in young children.
Crossing the midline is the ability to reach across the middle of your body with an arm or leg and complete a task.
