INSIDE CARMEL MOUNTAIN PRESCHOOL
This project is based on a book ‘The Invisible String’ by Patrice Karst.
In Art Studio we started an artist study of Niki de Saint Phalle.
A pendulum is defined as a weight hung from a fixed point so that it can swing freely backward and forward.
In Art Studio our students are learning about the work of Yayoi Kusama, a Japanese artist who was a self-described “obsessional artist,” known for her extensive use of polka dots and for her infinity installations.
I wanted to start the year with a subject all the children love to talk about—Home!
It’s a great chance to celebrate our differences as the children share stories and create a home based on their own.
Want to preserve the beauty of spring and summer flowers, practice your child’s fine motor skills, and have some fun craft possibilities?
There is such magic in color mixing! Let’s explore the color GREEN
In this exploration of secondary colors we will focus on ORANGE.
By observing yellow and red water color mix together we found orange!
