Materials:
- *Glass container
- *Air dry clay
Simply roll your clay into long pieces and wrap them around your container. Continue your coils till the container is no longer visible.
This is a great opportunity to work on the following:
- Patterning
- Shapes
- Color identification
- Fine motor
*If you have toddlers work on ripping clay into smaller pieces and pressing their pieces to the container. Working on rolling round vs long shapers can help their fine motor development and over all understanding of clay.
Once your clay is dry, add water & flowers!
Putting your a child’s art somewhere visible in your home will encourage them to create more and further build their confidence.
