Rhythm Child Drumming Event at CMP!

rhythm child drumming event at cmp

Carmel Mountain Preschool is very excited to host Rhythm Child Drumming on Wednesday, August 31st from 5:00-6:00pm.  This event is open to all CMP students (past, current, and future) and their families.  Rhythm Child will be performing on our soccer field, and parking will be available in the upper two parking lots.  You will need to pick up your child from class to attend this family event.  Please feel free to arrive and leave at whatever time is convenient for you.  Organic snacks and drinks will be served.

Some of our CMP teachers got to experience Rhythm Child at the NAEYC Conference in January and decided that we would love to have them perform for our students.  Heather & Norm Jones started on their mission back in 2003 with the hope that Rhythm Child could provide parents and teachers with an opportunity to share an engaging musical activity with their young children.  Through family drum circles, classroom workshops, and CD releases, Rhythm Child began the journey to motivate creativity.  From those humble beginnings, the company has now become a highly sought-after and respected source of uplifting songs and inspiring content.

Rhythm Child’s brand of soulful and honest music can be heard daily on Sirius Radio and experienced regularly throughout Southern California. Norm’s impact on early education is evident in the thousands of children that he engages with every year and from his invitation to perform at The White House Easter Roll in 2011.

As a public speaker and coach, Norm is constantly requested to bring his positive energy to audiences across the country.  Norm promotes music and rhythm as a way of life by providing keynotes, training programs, and interactive workshops to groups of students, parents, and educators.  The Rhythm Child Network is on a mission to inspire children and motivate all those who are guiding their development.

Rhythm Child is focused on preparing the next generation with the necessary tools for success. Our commitment is to share the experience of music-making through intuitive drumming, creative movement, and melodic awareness.  For more information and videos of Rhythm Child Events, please go to http://rhythmchild.net.
