Natural Flower Collage

Do you ever have flowers that you do not want to throw away? Or flowers that need to be plucked from your garden? Well we have found the perfect solution. Making a flower collage! The materials needed:-Water bottle spray
-Watercolor (we used yellow)
-Watercolor Paper
-Tacky glue
-Paintbrushes
-Flowers and leaves

Step One:
Take your flower stems and cut off the stem as close as you can to the bottom of the head of the flower. This will help ensure that the flower will stick to the paper. Separate the leaves to add nice greenery to your collage.

Step Two:
You can use a half sheet of watercolor paper or a full sheet. Fill your spray bottles with watercolor. A few drops of your desired color (we used yellow) and add water. You will then have the child spray the water onto the paper to create a background.

Step Three:
Once your paper is dry, which should be within a few minutes. You can start gluing your flowers down. It is helpful to have the glue in a cup and dip the paintbrush into the tacky glue. Begin to paint the bottom of the flower with the glue and gently press down the flower to the paper. This will dry within a few hours! And, tada! You have repurposed flowers into art!
