All About Corn

This week, our 2 year old friends learned all about corn! The used a variety of skills to explore and investigate.

All About Corn — They used tongs to pinch off pieces of corn. This is a great way to strengthen their fingers and hands.

All About Corn — We also filled out sensory table with corn so children can feel the texture of the corn!

All About Corn — We learned that “p” is for popcorn and glued popcorn cutouts onto the letter p.

All About Corn — Best of all, we made popcorn to round out our sensory exploration of corn! We loved to listen to the sound of the kernels popping, smell the popcorn, and of course, taste it!
