Styrofoam Sculpture

Children love stuff that sticks together. These super cool and colorful pieces of Styrofoam can be used for making all kinds of interesting sculptures.

Using a damp sponge, the children dip one of the foam end or sides onto the sponge and then stick it to a second piece of foam.

She made a large chain and then we tried to stand it upright.

Feeling proud of her accomplishment!

She made a menagerie of little zoo animals!

Miss Lisa and three-year old used a plastic lid as a base and build a sculpture on top of the lid.

Reinforce with a great book about sculpture and a trip to the museum!
