Parenting, although rewarding, is immensely hard work. At Carmel Mountain Preschool we know it can be difficult to put yourself first. This is where the yurt comes in. The yurt is nestled between the amphitheater and the outdoor kitchen. It is a dedicated space that is used to promote the well-being of our parents, care givers, and our staff through wellness and education.
Events such as sound bathing, yoga, parent education courses, conscious discipline courses, art, gardening, and cooking classes are available not only to families of CMP but to the community for free throughout the school year. We encourage you to keep an eye out for these events and join us for a moment of zen.
