Located on the northeastern part of campus lies Poppo’s Orchard. Cultivated in the spring of 2025, this was once a hill covered with shrubbery that was otherwise seen as unusable land. That was until we decided to build Poppo’s Orchard.
Named after our founder, Dan Condrick, Poppo’s Orchard sits on 10,000 sq. ft. of land. There is a series of rosemary lined switchbacks filled with a variety of trees: persimmon, apricot, plum, avocado, peach, cherry, macadamia nut, mulberry, loquat, fig, pomegranate, apple, and nectarine.
In total, there are 22 varieties of fruit trees and fruiting vines. The specific type of orchard we have created is called a polyculture orchard meaning several species grow together in harmony mimicking the diversity of their natural ecosystem.

The plan for the orchard is for CMP children and families to have access to healthy, organic, and free fruits and nuts. We chose trees that fruit at different times of the year so that the children of CMP can enjoy fresh, organic fruit all year long.
