School Age Curriculum Enhancement
Our School Age Curriculum Enhancement Program was created in order to support students how they learn best, in person. Our students will complete their elementary school virtual learning assignments and enhance that with experiential learning outdoors via art, science, nature lab, gardening, cooperation games, and play.
Ratio
Our 1:13 teacher-to-child ratio provides a program that facilitates support for your elementary age child to successfully navigate the 2022/2023 school year experience.
Curriculum
Carmel Mountain Preschool will facilitate and support your child’s learning with curriculum and assignments that prepare them for elementary school success. Their day will be filled with games, socialization, reading, writing, math, science, history, creative arts, rhythm and movement, cooking, gardening, multicultural awareness, dramatic play and fine/gross motor development.
Daily Activities
School Age Curriculum Enhancement Students will complete their assignments daily. The rest of the day will be filled with play-based learning activities to enhance their education and support all areas of learning. During the Summer, children will enjoy outdoor learning and engaging activities that incorporate weekly themes! The children absolutely love water days and spending time with their friends out in the open air.
Our School Age Curriculum Enhancement students get a very well-rounded education with weekly visits to The Art Studio and The Nature Lab & Glenn Garden. The students get to explore the garden, learn all about science and nature, and express their artistic brilliance.
